KeyResponsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for scalable battery production, focusing on efficiency and quality control.
- Work in tandem with the R&D team to scale lab prototypes into robust, high-throughput production systems.
- Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for continuous process improvement.
- Apply process modelling and simulation techniques to evaluate and optimize production workflows, ensuring alignment with performance and cost objectives.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve technical challenges, ensuring consistent product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Enforce strict compliance with industry safety, environmental, and quality standards to guarantee a safe and sustainable production environment.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform process improvements and implement innovative solutions that enhance overall production capabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve production challenges and streamline cross-functional processes.
JobRequirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though practical experience will be prioritized at Flint.
- Proven experience in process engineering or manufacturing roles, ideally within the energy, battery, or high-tech sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of production systems, process optimization, and quality assurance techniques.
- Advance proficiency in process simulation tools, statistical data analysis, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Expertise in managing and scaling complex manufacturing systems to meet efficiency and cost objectives.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to collaborative team efforts.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving engineering challenges.
- Passion for sustainability and dedication to advancing the future of energy storage and clean energy technologies.
- Knowledge of battery technologies, electrochemical processes, and related manufacturing techniques is a plus, but not required.
